What is Dopamine?
An open-source rootless, semi-untethered jailbreak by opa334. It ships with Sileo and Zebra.
Where do I download it?
Only from GitHub Releases. See the download page. Always use the latest release.
IPA vs TIPA — which do I need?
.tipa is for TrollStore. .ipa is for sideloading. Prefer TrollStore when it works on your device.
Does Dopamine support iOS 26?
On A12/A13 devices running 26.0, 26.0.1, or 26.1 beta 1–3 (use Dopamine 3.0.5+ for the betas). Details: iOS 26 jailbreak.
Does Dopamine support iOS 26.1?
26.1 beta 1–3 on A12/A13 with Dopamine 3.0.5+. Later betas or stable 26.1 are unsupported until GitHub notes say otherwise.
Can iPhone 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 jailbreak iOS 18 or 26?
No. A14 and newer chips stop at 17.3.1 with Dopamine 3.0 — not iOS 18 or 26. See the device matrix.
Is iOS 17.4, 17.5, or 18.7.2 supported?
Treat anything outside the chip ranges on supported devices as unsupported until GitHub notes say otherwise. A14+ does not get 17.4+; 18.x ceilings at 18.7.1 on eligible chips.
How do I know if my device is supported?
Check chip + iOS minor on supported devices, then confirm in Settings → About and AppleDB.
Will old tweaks work?
Often not without updates. Dopamine is rootless — prefer rootless packages in Sileo/Zebra. Classic rootful tweaks usually fail.
Sileo or Zebra?
Both ship with Dopamine. Pick either package manager; use sources/packages meant for rootless Dopamine environments.
Why do I need to jailbreak again after reboot?
Dopamine is semi-untethered (not tethered). Rebooting drops the jailbreak until you open Dopamine and run it again.
How do I remove the jailbreak / go back to stock?
Use Dopamine’s remove/hide options if available in the app, or restore the device with a computer via Finder/iTunes to return to stock iOS. Back up first.
Will banking apps / Apple Pay still work?
Jailbreaking can break or flag apps that check device integrity. Assume some Apple services and banking apps may fail — there is no guarantee.
Should I update iOS after jailbreaking?
Updating often removes jailbreak support for your build. Stay put if you want to remain jailbroken, unless a new Dopamine release clearly adds your target version.
Is jailbreaking safe?
It reduces system protections and can affect stability, security, battery, and support. Proceed only if you understand the tradeoffs.
