How to check your device

Open Settings → General → About. Note the iOS version (including the minor, like 17.3.1) and the model name. Match the model to a chip row below, then confirm the version sits inside that row’s range.

Often not supported

A14 and newer on iOS 18 or iOS 26; iOS 26.1 beta 4+ or stable 26.1 until listed; A14+ on 17.4+; unlisted minors until GitHub or AppleDB say otherwise.
